Bodo Press : The Chairman, Dwijing Festival Gautam Talukdar also asked the committee members to lay focus on the quality of the programmes and participating troops for escalating the festival to the world-class tourism and cultural show. The meeting also discussed the matters relating to the sequence of the programmes, selection of items, traffic problems, mobile network connectivity, security arrangements and resolved to arrange separate routes for entry and exit of vehicles around the festival site and to put barricades to handle the movement of public coming for the festival.
This year, the committee has decided to introduce various attractive events like cultural showcasing of various ethnic groups, troops having national and international reckoning from different parts of the world, programmes of famous regional as well as Bollywood and Hollywood artists, helicopter ride, elephant ride, boat ride, adventurous sports, traditional games, boxing, archery, cycling including ethnic food festival etc. The meeting was also attended by Superintendent of Police Sudhakar Singh and Addl. Deputy Commissioner Karmadev Brahma.
